What type of glue can be used on dentures?
One of the best types of denture glue is a high-grade resin, which is what we recommend ourselves. Occasionally you can use super glue or crazy glue as an at-home option, but it’s not a long-term solution. The glue will become apart as your mouth is full of acid and other elements that will break down the glue that is not designed for dentures.
By far the biggest issue with dentures are damaged teeth. This can either be from natural wear and tear or from biting on a Denture rebasing is a special process of replacing the entire denture base material on existing dentures. Rebasing is typically done when the teeth have been worn down or are cracked but the base is in good working order. In other words, it is a retrofitting of your dentures that involves replacing the acrylic denture base, which provides a stable base for the teeth to sit on.
Wear and tear naturally occurs over time so remember, you should receive a semi-annual oral examination to ensure your dentures are in good working order.
